I would never leave the house with the kiln running. Ever. Well, unless it was burning or something.
I can't go to sleep for the night unless the kiln is off and unplugged. It's not because of the things in my house, it's because of the animals. I'd die if anything happened to them while I was gone because of some stupid mistake I'd made.
