Default Translucent bead question

I’ve seen posts before but cannot find them on finishing the cleaning of the beads to make the center more translucent. When I clean my beads, I either use my bead reamer/ cleaner or my Drexel. Both ways leave the etched center to my beads. It’s no big deal on an opaque bead, but on the transparent, i want to have the center be more translucent. I’ve tried beeswax with olive oil, clear nail polish,,,,but I wanted to know if there is something else that I could use. The nail polish fumes just aren’t good for me and the beeswax mixture doesn’t give me what I’m looking for. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
