I definitely find that "real life" dulls my creativity. Things just seem to flow better I'm fresh and rested.
Growing up there was no importance put on expression or art. Now as I get older, I'm enjoying the exploration of the creative process in lampworking and belly dancing (but not at the same time!).
I feel being truly open to inspiration and expression, is not a way that I can live my daily life. I can't live "real life" that close to emotion. And I find it difficult to shift gears.
