Default Reducing and Oxidizing glass rods

Hi everyone!

I'm performing flow tests on a bunch of torches and I need help choosing a glass rod color that clearly reacts differently to a reducing flame, a neutral flame and an oxidizing flame. I work for Bethlehem Burners and my area of expertise lies with the design, manufacturing and repair of our torches and not with working glass. I have tons and tons of torch flow information that I want to share with the flame working community but I can't because I can't link the numbers to practical application. If I could demonstrate the different gas to o2 flow settings available with our torches and how each flame mixture affects a well known glass color, I would be able to more accurately describe how the new Bethlehem design is an improvement from our old designs and differs from other torch manufacturers.

Any info on glass colors you can give me would be greatly appreciated! I've asked people this question before and apparently it isn't a simple question to answer

Thanks!

Kate
