Hi everyone
It took way longer than I had hoped to get my setup complete. Surprisingly, it was the gas connections that too ages, because people over here are quite ignorant when it comes to what fitting standard is used on cylinders here, so finding adapters to convert them to the American CGA standard was a nightmare.
While I would have preferred to buy regulators locally, both regulators I bought, from two different supply stores were passing. That is, I could not isolate the gas and there would always be a flow across the regulator - not good!
But it's done and I can finally run my torch!
(For what it's worth: National Torches' Regulators are fantastic. They allow for perfect isolation of the gas, they have built in pressure-relief valves, and their valve design allows for very careful tuning of output pressure)
