Hi Everyone, this is Glenn. I got tired of of getting to close to the flame, So I developed a light weight short rod holder. I use mine everyday. The nice thing about my rod holders is you can actually pick a rod up off your work table while keeping your bead warm with the other hand. when rotating the rod it stays straight.
You can continue working the rod down to one half of an inch.
