I keep mine in a tall glass swing-top bottle. It still settles, and I still have to occaisionally add water, but it doesn't dry out anywhere near as fast as any of the other containers I've tried - the stopper forms a pretty air-tight seal, and it's easier to keep the connection clean than on a threaded lid or a cork. (And it's tall enough to dip mandrels for all but the most ridiculously long beads...)
