I used to use a craft blade for fine poking and pulling but got tired of the black marks from using steel. So I bought some sheet brass at the craft store, probably 22 gauge, and cut out a shape that fits into the x-acto handle. Since it can be cut with scissors, I was able to customize the tip
The brass grabs nicely when I use the flat side, but it doesn't leave crud on colors like rubino like steel does.
