I missed your pot earlier. All these techniques can be used with soft glass. The tutorials do much more than just show how to make something. They teach techniques that apply to ALL glass work. Examples are layering, encasing, fuming, building murini, cane work, etc.... So, the implosion one alone, teaches a lot of things that you will use forever, no matter what you make in the future.
