I just finished torching for about 3 hours, had to get up early and get
out to my studio as it's susposed to be 104 degrees today.
I ran the scorpion on 2 regalias set at 10. This is a completely different
torch on 2 regalias. I experimented to see if I could make it carbon up,
I worked close to the face, made a really large piece, melted frit
like amazon bronze ( that would carbon it up immediatly before ) and
got positively not one tiny bit of carbon or embers. None.
I do not have to be careful about how close to the face I get,
I can work like I am used to, even when I used a low flame and
got close, no carbon at all. It looks like my problem is solved.
