Absolutely.

Propane turns from liquid to a gas at room temperature at a pressure of 3000 psi so you will need something to reduce that down to a workable pressure.

Propane Bar B Que set ups drop it down to about 35 psi so the Bar B Que section will have a regulator that will work but it won't have a dial to show you anything.

Also, as an aside, the red and green welders hose is designed for acetylene and oxygen not propane and oxygen.
Propane does this chemistry thing to the inside of the acetylene hose and causes it to break down and get gummy which then will clog up the tiny holes, valves and tubes in a dual gas torch after a years use or so.
Then you have to send it back to the manufacturer to get it repair if they can fix it.
The hose can also begin to leak fuel gas as well so that makes it not only annoying but dangerous as well to use welding hose with propane.

What you need for propane is the black hose with a marked "T" rating on it also at the Bar B Que isle.

Stay safe and read as much of the studio and safety threads of conversation here as you can.
It can be a lot to slog through but you only have to learn it once.
