I looked at mib very hard, a bunch of times. This is what I see,
and lets forget about the opal, lets just leave that out, the rest of it
is enough to fathom.

Maria a good size rod and do the dots for the center compression,
He used white - cobalt - and elvis red. Poke them slightly and compress,
and twist them just a bit. Now round this back up, making sure that your
termination point is neat and gathered in to a small point before rounding.
You might need some clear added here for depth before you add the dots.
Then build the stacked dots.
Start with one color combo either the red and white or the blue and white.
Do graduated rows from the middle in sets of three.
Each dot: Example: tiny red dot, cover with white, cover with clear, cover with red, cover with white, cover with clear.
When you get the three arms done of this cover each one with another dot of clear for depth.
Then repeat in the spaces with the blue and white.
Cover all with clear.
As you work you would keep the marble round, keep putting it into your mold to keep the
shape as you work.
Anyway, that's what I see there, I might try it and post a picture.
Anyone else? Give it a try and post your picture, it might be fun
to see what we could come up with.
