Hi again Angie,

If I am doing a swirl where I want one color (A) to swirl up into the other color (B) without just twisting the two together too much, I heat the spot I want to work in, then put the clear stringer up in the color B, but not too far from color A, then twist. That twist brings color A up into color B (or down, whichever) in a more separate arc. I stop when it comes to the point I want it to be. You have to experiment a bit with how close, to see the different looks it gives. Is that what you mean.


I had been putting my stringer in on the line, and it wasn't the look I was trying to get for that particular bead.
