Silver and Anise white
I've decided that I was using a rod of Anise White by mistake - thinking it was plain opaque white. I understand that the Anise White will react with the silver to make a caramel color - it was said to be an "attractive" effect - not so much in my opinion. Haven't confirmed this theory yet but I think it's likely that is what happen.
