After lampworking for over a year, I've experienced only the occasional tiny specks of flying glass hitting the inside of my left arm and occasionally touching too closely to the recently joined ends of shorts.
I've probably jinxed myself now.
My most significant lampworking injury has been a cut on a finger when I twisted a cracked bead off a mandrel.
