I've only burned myself twice with the torch that caused slight scarring (both times by bumping the head of the torch OUCH). The woodstove and toaster oven are out to get me though!!
I picked up a hot stringer the other day d'oh but I keep a bottle of Trader Joe's Aloe Vera Gel on the bench and I swear the next day I had forgotten that I had a finger burn. That stuff is amazing for little burns like that, heals them immediately.
