You have given me hope! This is exactly what we planned to do with our garage in terms of raising the roof, but my husband said it might not work out because of "engineering difficulties." Did you have to get a building permit from your town? I'd love to pick your brain in terms of some of the specifics. Can't wait til DH gets back from the golf course today to show him your pics.
