Your friend might get tired of looking at you looking like something out of Star Wars.....LOL But it will let her know how serious you are but that you also still want to torch with her..

Just make sure you fully understand how to wear a full fitting respirator. If it does not seal properly or have the correct cartridges for the specific air contamination then it will not protect you as desired. I recommend proper ventilation first.
