I finally put a few rods into the flame this afternoon. Like most everyone said earlier, the semi-opaques are a bit bubbly and the regular rods have to be heated slowly to avoid shocking. But I was overall very happy with the glass. Devardi is a bit stiffer than other glass so it's fantastic for using as a base when making floral beads. The base stays firm so you can manipulate the heck out of the flowers and surface designs. Will be buying lots more! Kas
