[Nt3grals]

So im new to lampworking, & have been working on my marbles recently since it teachs you how to create a “Gather”, & a gradual hot to cold punty connection, but as I work towards the last couple punty connections, I cant seem to get the easy “tap on the corner of your workbench”, or “tap with the end of your tweezers” clean break of the older punty. Usually it just wnds up either breaking off the new cold seal connection first, or the seal im trying to take off ends up breaking and leaving a good chunk of glass on the marble and then im right back to the same step i was just on with my marble. Any suggestions on how i can fix this? Is it because i am getting the entire marble too hot after i attach the new punty or what do you all think? Thanks in advance for any help!
