Default Proper electroforming cleanup?

Curious, when electroforming anything. After clean up, what do use with the extra bits of acid on the beaker and stuff? Neutralize them with baking soda? Then throw it in the trash? Im new to it, and disposal of extra bits of copper and acid make me nervous, yet i cant find anything on the proper way of disposing of such things. Like when i clean up and put the acid solution back in its container, iwhat do i do with the extra copper sludge and bits that have acid reminance???
