I got a package in the mail today from David and Natasha at Devardi Glass containing a new Spartan Torche and check valves they gave these to me an the kids. What is nice is that I got to use it first as the kids are not here on Monday. I am very impressed with this small torche, it is a litte smaller physically from the Nortel Minor. I think it has better flame caracteristics from any of the small torches I have used. The torche is still hot enough to make boro beads quite nicely, I haven’t tried to make any marbles yet but when the kids get here I know there will be a couple marbles made first thing.

I believe this will be a great torch for making beads for a new person. It is priced under a hundred dollars which will help the poor newbie like me to switch from a hot head to a surface mix torche. I am very impressed with this torche and will love to see what others think about this new torche.
