Default Painting with Thompson Enamels on Beads

I saw some older posts about painting with enamels, but wondered if there were anything new on the subject.

I have the whole sample set of Thompson Enamel powders and I'd like to paint with them on my beads. Should I use oil of lavender as a medium? Then, what should I need to know about firing them?

I've tried to find someone who has already had some experience with them, but I haven't had any replies.

Can you point me in a direction that might save me some experimental time?
