Love the new forum. I'm getting back to boro after a hiatus and went looking for the jellyfish posts to refresh my memory.

Mary, LOVE the glow in the dark. Today, I was just pulling down my boro bar glow sticks into stringer, So I know what I'll be trying in the next week or so.

Beautiful jellies! Mary, I love the way the glow glass looks kind of ivory-ish in regular light.
I had a request for smaller jellies. They're not really, just a bit shorter. lol

Hi you guys! I was so happy to see someone posting here! Rebecca LOVE those jellies! And thanks so much for the tip 4pa's I am def going to try that. I think I have some dragon's blood somewhere! That glowing glass I use is not glow in the dark glass! it's UV glass called Illuminatti. It glows in blacklight. For some reason when I use it in a piece, and of course I bring my blacklight flashlight to shows, and show someone it glows they instantly want it. It's a useless effect for the most part, who walks around in a UV world these days? But it sells glass I will tell ya. People are so funny.

Another beauty, Mary. Illuminiti, yes I have some. Cool! And Flamingo and I think Lucy. Wonder how they would look together? Hmmm

Lucy is not as bright as Illuminati, I was dissapointed with it, and flamingo is even less bright. There are some bright pink UV colors being developed though, not sure if you do facebook, but there is a group called boro color awareness that you can find out about a lot of glass I never knew existed made by glass makers that are not northstar or GA.

If you don't want to travel with a UV light, you all should try the new CFL (compact florescent light) colors that are out there. The colors shift whether you are outside or inside. Some of the companies are Sparkle Pants Ranch, Greasy Glass, ABR Imagery (Boro Batch), FL Boro Supply (on Etsy). These companies also make UV colors as well.

Look in Boro Room Free Tutorials for the Jellyfish thread. Go to page 2 - there is a great drawing on how to do a jellyfish.

There are several in the Soda Lime Toes. One is a 5 minute fish by Janice Peacock. I make a variation on this. Takes more like 10-15 minutes. Let me se if I can find the issue.

One of my older Jellies. Love doing these - they are easy and even a newbie can do them. Tutorial in boro room is a very good one.
