Dual-fuel, dual-fuel, duel-fuel....so there! OK - we get it! No offense, Dale...and I KNOW, technically it's NOT two fuels - but in my ignorance I too call it that sometimes. Sorry...

Meanwhile, Moonofglass, I really think you should give it some more time! I've been on a Hot Head for many years, and in the beginning I got very frustrated but I didn't really have a choice at the time to switch it up, so I stuck to it and conquered!!!

On the other hand, if I did have a choice to upgrade right away, I'd just go for it and make the jump! I have a new Cricket, which wasn't available until recently, but had it been way back when, I would have bought it much sooner!!!

thank you de. all i could think was i was being tested by my AP Chem prof! lol. from this point forward i solomnly swear to only refer to it as a oxy propane torch. until i type to quickly...

No regulator needed - the HH is it's own regulator.

I used a HH with bulk propane for over 6 years and loved it, you can see pics of what I've made on my site, as well as where to work in the flame and tutorials. Patience is a virtue.
