What to check when looking at a used oxycon?
While I realize it's not the best way to buy one, I have any opportunity to bid on an oxycon at an estate auction. On my limited newbie budget I'd like to at least try one out. I have a mega minor but I'm not using any boro and don't plan to in the foreseeable future.
Would someone give me an idea of what I should look for in a unit. I know to check on the hours (though I imagine there is a way to cheat on them.) What else? I'm hoping to have an opportunity to plug the unit in and see if it powers up-what should I notice? Do all units display the lpms?
If this unit only has a barb to connect my hose is there another way to use it without cutting off my connector? I'd rather preserve it if possible.
Thanks!
