Best Pink?
I have tried few pinks but haven't found the best pink yet. I am looking for bright happy pink that would make my 5 year old girl giggle...
What's your favorite??
Thanks
Christy

They bubble, burn, boil and lose their color if not treated just right.

Reichenbach Opal Raspberry for opaque. I haven't used the 104 version but the 96coe is yummy.

Rose quartz is my 5 & 8 yo's favorites, they say it makes them think of cotton candy and bubblegum. I prefer opal raspberry , cranberry or rubino, but what do I know.

That's really pretty. I have not tried 256. I use 260(lt. pink) a lot.
Is 256 much darker or brighter than 260?
How about 261(Rosa P D'angelo)???

Depending on the batch, 256 can be a much darker pink than 260. There is a Bubblegum version of 260 that is quite nice. I like CiM Rose Quartz and Gelly Pink. Lauscha makes some pretty pinks. ANd Pink Opalino is lovely if you are able to strike it. Rosa P is paler. For a bright transparent pink, I like Reichenbach 104 Pink Lady.

You might look at the Devardi pinks. The shades of pink and rose are quite lovely and reasonably priced.

Christy, as long as they're all the same COE (104 in your case), they should all work well together!

Keep in mind that Reichenbach is made in both 104 and 96 COE cane.

The Devardi transparent rose pink is an absolutely luscious color. But it doesn't play well with anything else including the rest of the Devardi line. Some people have had success using it over the Devardi lipstick pink (opaque). Its an absolutely gorgeous color on its own though and equally stunning etched.

These are all Rubino over white. The thicker you layer it, the darker pink you get.

Lenora,
I love your pinks! They are so pretty!
I somehow can't do Rubino. Last few times, I got black scums on them. I must burn them?? Newbie thing I guess....

That's most likely a reduction thing happening. Keep an oxy rich flame to prevent it.
