I'll start for this month.
These are some knobs I've been working on for my kitchen cabinets. These will go on the upper cabinets and I'm working on nautilus shells for the lower ones.

Thanks Morgan. I make the collar? post thing? whatchmacallit on the end of a mandrel and attach the glass, (fish, starfish, turtle, etc.) to that so they stand about 1/2" out from the cabinet face. The knob inserts get epoxied in.
I read that putting the glass directly on the inserts or a screw leads to cracking but I haven't tried that.
I'll try to get a pic of the back of one tomorrow because I'm not sure that made any sense. lol

Thanks again. My kitchen is pretty small with plain white cabinets but I'll try to get a good pic when it's done.

Here's a quick pic of the nautilus shells. Got done with them today. I'm just waiting on some epoxy to get delivered so I can get those inserts in and get done.

Well, this piece is from last year, but I don't think I ever posted it. The sphere is approx 2.25" in diameter.

Default Something from me

I don't usually post ... just lurk and drool.

But here is something from me I'm pleased with. Playing with handmade cane that is silver fumed.

Pardon the dust on the background glass ... forgot to clean it!! Dolt!

Thanks. A friend in Austin is doing a glass fundraiser with a heart theme. I'm donating several pieces.
