Hi, I am a new member. Lampworking has been a hobby but not much time to practice. Yesterday I tried making a large encased bead and then squashed it. Same result as many previous attempts. Once cooled in the fibre blanket the bead cracks along the line of the mandrel. Can anyone help please? The one I did yesterday was definitely not squashed too thin. I paid particular attention to that point.
