Default Does pink goldstone exist?

I googled for goldstone today and found a few site that were talking about pink goldstone, but did not see a good reference or picture for anything I would consider pink. So after then googling pink goldstone specifically, I was getting some hits, still no good pictures of what they're calling pink. Has anyone ever heard of this stuff? If so, anyone know who sells it for lampworking?

I like to encase goldstone chunks in pink to pull stringers. I think it looks good.

Encase it in rubino and pull it. It's gorgeous. You can encase it in any transparent and get some really nice sparkley colors.

Just make sure that if you encase goldstone chunk in rubino, that you don't apply this over ivory! (rubino+ivory=dark ugliness)
(I'm going to have to try this out now...I encased in some med.trans purple and it was nice)

I encase goldstone in all kind of colors. Mary if you encase the rubino in clear you could use it on ivory.

Wow that looks gorgeous. Wonder what it costs to ship from Australia.

Does it really pull out pink and sparkly?

You can add a layer of clear over the rubino before you pull the stringer. Then it can go on top of any color without reacting.

Transparent black makes a great encasement for goldstone too - it pulls out to dark blue/purple (depending on brand) and makes a deep purple sparkly stringer.

No sparkly unfortunately. It's pink like rubino.

I took a class where we layered rubino over goldstone rod. Really nice coppery color! Not as pinky as some of the images on the links. But I suppose you could play around with the amounts you use. The chunk was ginormous and we pulled about a 50 foot stringer! I hadn't thought about putting clear over the rubino. Why didn't I think of this?

Just wanted to say thank you for all the ideas & info shared.
I played with encasing with various transparents, and like the resulting variety.

and in sunlight

and while I remember...
in clear then one lone piece hiding in there is dark purple, then Lauscha Emerald Green, rubino clear (it was a very pale pink, I don't know if there are various of rubino or not but labeled rubino clr I think) with clear over that, then pale aquamarine and dark violet I believe.
