SWEET!!! I agree - as long as you're safe and happy, go for it

My "studio" is a spare bedroom with a window that faces directly into our neighbor's house so I always feel like I'm being watched.

I like this idea. It seems like it would be easier to modify than a room in a house. If it's funcional and safe, it's great!!!!!

I love it! If you get sick of the hubby, you can just hook up your studio and take off. Don't forget to load the fridge with beer before you leave.

That is a great idea, I may be able to use something like that in the future. What do you do for ventilation?

Great idea for a studio. Plus you can just hook it to your car and go wherever you like.

All the windows open and I have a huge fan that draws fresh air from one window to the side of me and and (in theory) blows it away from me towards the other window to the side of me.
I am currently looking at the welding exhaust fume remover thingies not sure of the tech term right now!!!

I love it!!! I was looking at campers for my studio too! I think it's a great idea for all the reasons mentioned... but also because it seems like if something caught on
fire it might be easier to 'contain' to just that space. My husband wants to frame in part of the garage and move me from the sunroom, but this camper idea keeps
speaking to me. I was thinking maybe one of those toy haulers with a lot of space in it that I can just set up in,and not have to modify it too much. There are just
less code restrictions with these, and most of them already have a spot on the front deck for an outside propane tank. Brilliant idea!!!!

I think it's great. I considered lots of options to get my own space but couldn't find anything. One of the recent Stained Glass News shows a picture of someone with an old school bus. I know there is a beadmaker (Margie? ) in California I think who uses a bus.

Anything we can call ours, works for me.

Someone down the road from me has had a food hut for sale...it's a great idea because of the built in ventilation...but the modifications would be a challenge, and it's lots more costly than a camper...I checked into it...plus, no place to sleep! LOL

The bed may have sounded funny, but I was thinking how convenient it would be for going to craft fairs, here in VT. you don't get rooms in the fall... and it'd be like security for summer shows. LOL
I still love this idea,
