Default Halogen or fluorescent day light bulbs for photographing dichroic beads??

Any suggestions?

Definitely the CFL daylight bulbs, 100W equiv. For the most natural colors.

Or place a gray card in the image and use your photo processing software to color correct.

I bought the CFL daylight bulbs, and it makes so much difference!!! I had oranges, that I could not photograph true, or even manipulate the photo afterward to be the right color. They ROCK!!
