Default Got my tumbler....now what?????

Hi all,

I ordered my tumbler from Harbor Freight. I just opened it up but it doesn't include specific instructions for polishing silver. Does anybody out there have one of their tumblers? Can you offer some guidance? Thanks!!!!
Signed....clueless!

Your best bet for polishing sterling silver is stainless steel mixed shot. I got mine from www.jatayu.com. I just dump everything I want to polish in, fill it 3/4 with warm water and a squirt of Dawn. Works great!

My husband, the eternal frugal king is relentless in his advice to use bb gun pellets. I will be purchasing the recommended shot, but am looking for feedback from those that have been there! Sheesh.....thanks! : - )

I just got a tumbler and used steel shot with detergent. It worked great but I was warned that I need to keep the shot soaking in water so it doesn't rust.

Regular steel shot will rust -- stainless steel shot will last forever
