Default Biggest bead ever rolled?

Hey! I'm Graphitjunge from Germany.
I would like to know:
What is the biggest size of a glassbead
you have ever heard of, or which you have
ever seen?!?

Thank you

...der Graphitjunge

Jim Smircich brought one to a show, maybe 10 years ago? It was somewhere around 7" long. He said it was Effetre glass on a Nortel minor burner.

I did a search, but can't find a picture - too bad!

Someone posted a picture of one they had made in a hot shop, seems it was like a 10" doughnut.

Ali's (Aliveglass) are 5-6" + and weigh 1/4 - 1/3 pound

Does it have to be rolled? I saw a photo of a guy holding a chevron nearly the size of a football in an old copy of Ornament.
