Default bullseye enamels?

are there enamels that are compatible with bullseye?
I just sold my 104 to get bullseye and it was something I didnt consider before I did it!

What are you doing up at this time of night thinking about enamels? lol

I don't know.I only know of the enamels that everyone uses.

Yes, there are Bullseye compatible enamels. You can get a sample pack from Arrow Springs, I know, and probably other places.

You could also should check out www.warmglass.com and do a search on enamels - there are lots of different types that people use with the BE sheet glass that are mentioned over there.

I have heard that the thompson enamels that are supposed to be compatible are not as compatible as they claim.I think I posted a question recently about thompson enamels

Bullseye has a Powder Pack of 7 assorted colors in 4oz zip bags for around $30.00. If you want to try some i have a few colors i could send you.

so is the bullseye powders what people use for the enamels? I couldnt find an enamel pack at arrowsprings. Thanks!

I use the Bullseye powder the same way i use my Thompson enamels. I think the Thompson enamels are a little more intense in color. I keep the Bullseye powders to use with Bullseye glass. Thompson enamels i only use with Effetre glass.

i've only ever used the Moretti compatible enamels but Thompon has 90COE enamel listed here:

The 9000 series Thompson Enamels are for glass with a COE of 104.
The 7000 (opaque) and 8000 (transparent) series Thompson Enamels are for glass with a COE of 90 - 97.
