DO YOUR BEADS GO FOR GOOD DEEDS?
Bead Challenge promises to be extra-super-duper fun! Each shift of bead making will have a different focus. We’ll be making Act of Courage Beads and Dream Beads, helping to bring to reality beads designed by children in BOC programs.
We invite you to participate in several ways:
1. As a Bead Challenge Bead Artist! We’re challenging you to commit to the following:
- One 2 hour shift of bead making during the Bead Challenge Event. The beads you make during your shift will go into BOC programs.
- Bringing your friends and family to the event! Help educate them about BOC, and encourage them to make a donation to BOC too!
- Donating 6 or more beads to the BOC program BEFORE the Bead Challenge:
· 5 beads for Bead Sponsorship (Spectators at the event will be able to ‘sponsor’ a bead for $5, and write a special note for the child in treatment who receives that bead).
· 1 bead for a Bead Door Prize
- To sign up as a Bead Challenge Bead Artist, please reply to this email with your schedule preference (10 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 2 PM, or 2 PM to 4 PM). If you have already signed up for a shift of bead making, there's no need to reply. Torch spaces will fill up quickly, but we will do our best to accommodate your preference!
2. As a Volunteer at the event! We need help during the day event, helping to answer questions, string beads, and staff our bead store.
