I love doing implosions (doesn't mean I'm necessarily GOOD at them!)
The hardest bit for me is getting a good even disc.
What are you having trouble with?

You want your disc at about 75-80 degree angle to the flame with the frit/twistie/whatever facing the flame. Rotate slowly and back off the flame if it starts going wonky. The edges of the disc should slowly cave in toward the middle of the disc.

You need to go very slowly, which is why I haven’t tried in many years. Also, if I recall, it helps to use a stiff clear.
