Default Bead Release Concrete Question

I forgot a few bottles of Sludge Plus in a drawer and when I opened them today they were rock solid. I was hoping someone could tell me if/how I can reconstitute them?

Also, if Bead Release (Sludge Plus) gets old, but water has been added so it's still a good consistency, does age start to deteriorate it and make it quicker to break in use?

Thanks in advance!

Add distilled water to rehydrate. I wouldn't think age would cause a problem.

It is solid in the container - full to the rim and hard. They were sitting upside down. Should I chip it out?

No, just pour water to cover and top it off as it gets absorbed. It might take a few days to completely soften, but it will eventually.

I've revitalized lots of Sludge Plus that had gone to concrete. Just pour distilled water into the container. Screw the lid on tight and leave for a day or two until it can be stirred. Then stir to see if it's at the consistency you like. Add more distilled water if you want it thinner or leave the lid off if it needs to be thicker.

I've used tap water and had some mold. But I just stirred the mold in and used it anyway. The release worked fine. But I do keep distilled water on hand now and I've never had a mold issue using it.

Very helpful info. And is Step 1 when your glass stuff has been packed away for years.

I have the same problem! I"m returning after years and have found several bottles of concrete, lol. I purchased new but now will go back and try the idea. Saving money where I can is important 'cause then I can buy more glass
