I have NEVER had any glow stix glow. I always wonder what kind of lighting people use to show the glow. It has never happened for me.

They charge best with UV (sun, black light, etc). A strobe from a camera flash will give them a couple seconds of glow too. When I shut down my shop at night, I have glowing areas all over. The time a tube full of glow power blew up on my bench, it looked like stars.

To photograph the glow, I used a 2 second exposure and gave the glass a quick charge up with a black light before hand.

I know you can get it from Mountainglass. I don't know how much they normally cost. If anyone knows where to get it cheaper.... please lets us know!

it boro bar and most places sell boro bar or some call it Origin Glass Boro Bars and it around $130 a pound ABR is doing 25% of till 6-3-2014 if your getting it quick. but the down side if your get it to hot it will lose glow if it gets thin it loses glow so you need to do a thick coat to get a good glow and the yellow-green looked brighter than the aqua ever time for me.

I got some samples from eu-glass at a show and it didn't realy glow much even raw when i got it home.
I went to GL33 site and site is currently unavailable and google sends me to there facebook and they sell non-glow boro glass i didn't write them to see if they are still selling glow glass or if eu-glass has all the stock.

and then there was this.

Just got some glow glass from GL33......lines of bubbles throughout the entire 1/2 lb. order. Practically blows up like a balloon when heated up. I think he might be out of all his first quality stuff or something because I cant imagine this being sold on a regular basis without people complaining/not ever buying from him again.
