Wow Debra, That heart is outstanding. I really love the depth of the color you got in the amber, and the added dots made it even better. I love it!

Diane,
We tried out your tutorial for Tiger Stripes this weekend and it was so much fun and so easy to do.
Great tutorial, well written and easy and logical to follow.
Now if I can just get the twisties to not be wrapped so tight...

Hi Mike, I'm so glad you enjoyed making the tigers. If your twisties are wrapped too tight, try using fewer stripes of black. The fewer stripes the tighter you can twist.
I'd love to see some photos.

I *still* haven't done my tiger heart yet because I'm having so much fun with other tiger beads! Just thought I'd share since I finally took some pics today:
My twisties are getting better too which is such a wonderful byproduct.

Ooh, Astrid I love the cylinders. One thing I love about the tiger design is that you can make them any shape your mind can imagine, and in any color combination. The BHB is to die for!

Thank you Diane! I do love the process, there is so much you can do with it. I love the BHB too, I was SO scared I'd break it coring it! Sometimes the fates are kind.

Hello, looking for this! The original post mentions an Etsy store, but there's no link. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

Hi everyone, wow this is a blast from the past seeing this! I have retired that tutorial but will be happy to sell it for half price ($5) to anyone still interested in getting a copy. Just send me a PM with your PayPal email and the email you want me to send the tutorial to and I'll send you and invoice for it.
Thanks so much for your interest in the tutorial. I never get tired of making tigers and am so impressed with what other people have done using the tutorial!
Just to let you know, if you are a subscriber or want to be a subscriber to Artisan Jewelry Times, the sister magazine to Soda Lime Times, I did a tutorial for making the tiger beads two to a mandrel in the current issue. You can learn about Artisan Jewelry Times at http://www.artisanjewelrytimes.com. There is a lampwork tutorial in every issue and this month I just happened to do tigers!
Anyway, if you want a copy of the tiger tut just PM me and I can arrange it.
