Default Turquise trouble

I love this color, but I'm having trouble using it without getting tiny holes all over the bead.
I've been told to work higher in flame on HH, which is I did but nothing help.

Any advice?

Try ASK-104 Tribal Turquoise or Bahia Blue - they don't pit at all.
Also, Vetrofond Turquoise is slightly better than Moretti.

Sorry, it was moretti light turquoise.
And I still have 3 rods moretti dark turquoise as well

Thanks for the advice, Sarah. I will give a vetrofond a try... found 1 rod

Also try working further out in the flame. This color doesn't like a reduced flame.

Yep...pretty much get waaaaaay far out in the flame....so far out it takes forever to melt....(it's kind of like alabastro/opalino that way...)
