And I have now tried it out over the weekend and it works like a hot damn!

I think I will add the previous version's fibreglass fabric cover onto the bottom of the fibre batts (forgot I had wrapped the batts in fibreglass fabric) - I am picking up the tiny bits of batt when putting even hotter rods back into the thing.

I'm going to take it with me to the Whistler Molten Experience in May, since it saves me time - I'm not the fastest beadmaker by any means...

Hoping to either replace my camera or have my damaged camera fixed by then. Sorry for the quality of the pictures, but the camera went through the fire, got soaked by the fire hose, then kicked about on the floor by the firemen - then they pulled the burning ceiling down on top of it. I was lucky to find it at all, but if you want a tough camera, buy Nikon

Heading back in to make some more beads before my 'studio' turns back into an actual bedroom...
