Default Beads in brown...examples please?

A friend asked me to make her a necklace using brown glass beads. Not a color I use often! If anyone has some bang-up color combination on the darker side of the brown spectrum, can you post their color names and manufacturers (104 COE please). Photos are a plus!!!!

Either Moretti Brown 444 or 448 will make raku pop like crazy. I know that will add a lot of color and might not really be what she is looking for. It is my favorite thing to use brown as a base for. Maybe try it with just a bit of raku?

I also like to add ivory dots on top and do a gravity swirl.

This is 444 with Vet 932 (Pink Fish):

I like to pair 444 with pink, ivory, white, periwinkle, pea green, lemon yellow... They all look great. I'll have to dig around to see if I can find some pics.

Wink Brown with Cotton Candy Frit

This is Brown with a Frit called Cotton Candy. Do not remember where I purchased the Frit. And in fact if somebody knew I sure would appreciate knowing. I have that Dreaded (Sometimers) Disease. Sometimes, I just can't remember.

These are Effetre 444 with a twist of yellow ochre (I think) and turquoise. SIS stringer and DH Olympia Rain.

Bullseye has some very nice browns.

Not brown so much but 444 looks good with medium red and ivory.

I have more pics I can post later. Most of my combos come from system 96 glass.

Kandyce Seeber does absolutely beautiful brown beads, I think she even has a free tut on mixing shades of brown on her site www.lampwork.net.

Smile Brown Beads

These were made with transparent Effetre medium topaz, and Effetre browns, light ivory and some Aurae. They are more of a carmel color in person, but they may give you some ideas. Sorry the pics are so big- I'm at work and can't resize- Good luck! Laura

CiM Adamantium is a great dark brown. Lauscha Cocoa is a lovely cocoa brown.

Man, I'm embarassed to follow Kandice.

Set 1 and 3 are using Kandice's brown mix, the transaprents.
Set 2 is trans light brown over ivory
Set 4 is with the new CIM Maple (very yummy)
Bead 5 is Terra over trans teal.
