black frit??
I’m trying to make a little bit of my own frit, and stuck on black. I used Cim Tuxedo last night, (heating up a paddle and quenching in water), the pieces look navy! I understand blacks can have purple or blue tints to them.
I’m in a bit of a time crunch. Does anyone have good advice on a black that would make decent frit? Hades maybe? Or intense black? I'm going to use in implosions in clear glass and really want black black.
If it’s impossible, that would be good to know, so I can move along with something else. I’m at work now, but will head home soon and get back to the torch. Any of your LE wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Intense black frit stays black, it's wonderful. Hades might be okay too?

BellaDonna Diamond Black is from Arrow Springs. One of their specialty glasses. Good stuff - very dense, stays black & doesn't spread.

Thanks dj! I can't believe I haven't heard of Bella Donna glass. Thanks for the link! The Royal Purple and Moody Blue are very very tempting. I barely have time to use the glass I have, but wow, the possibilities!
