Default Tri-Colored Lauscha rods question

What's the story with the Tri Color Lauscha rods?
Do you use them in any special way?
And what do the finished beads look like?

Inquiring minds and all that,
magpie

I have more colors on the way , but this is the purple....all by itself! Gorgeous colors, streaky, love it! I know there are plenty of ways to use these rods, but this is the only way I've tried so far.... I'm sure others will have plenty of input.

It's just great stuff because it creates those streaks without having to do anything. I found the purple really easy to work with.

Sorry...pic isn't great.

I love the tri-colored rods, but I like simple beads...

I LOVE the green tri-color. Not only does it make great vines when doing florals, but it also can be used for a kind of Malachite Gone Wild look.

The brown is great too, but I don't have a picture of it at hand to show you.
I love these so much I just ordered one of each of the other colors available.

I've also made my own with Effetre glass. Here is Effetre 060 with a hand mixed pink from the color chart on my website:

This stuff is wonderful to play with!
