Color chart for Thompson Enemels?
I have the sample pack of TE and also bought some jars of them. I would love to combine them, but the jars dont have serial number, and thats all the baggies have. I would love to find a chart for the enamels, but Frantz has only few of the enamels on their website, and I was not able to find a single enamel from Thompson Enamels website. Anyone know if there even is such a thing as color chart for them?

Hi Pia,
The color charts are in the catalog ... but I also thought they were on the website???
Off to check!
Umm ... looks as though they are redoing their site (a good thing). In the mean time you need to find a catalog. Pm me if you can't find one ...

Thanks... will do! I was wondering that I did not remember their site being so pathetic... makes sense if they are redoing it.
Could you order the catalog from them or for example from Frantz?

I think you would have to get it directly from them - they're slow shippers (at least they have been for me) so it could take a while.
I was going to offer to scan and send you a copy, but my catalog is older and doesn't have the moretti colors ... If I find a newer one (must have it somewhere) I'll do that.

I found Listen-Up's enamel chart! I should have known that she had one of these! And here is the link for one, in case anyone else is wondering:

hello,
there are some pics of simple enameled beads at this vendors site too: look up under "produktübersicht" and then "thompson enamels"
https://ssl.kundenserver.de/s3599382...dex.shopscript
hope it gives you an idea how they will look when spread in random way

ok....
oh and if you don't mind me suggest my favourite colour: its midnight black:
if you cook/boil "the snot out of it" (as I read once somewhere, LOL) you can get ranges from dark green to navy blue, very special and nice for any night themed or water themed background.
(yes, I admit: I looooooove enamels! )

Pia.. not sure if they still have them or not (or if they even have a website but you might try Seattle Pottery Supply. I am certain they used to have an actual paper color chart for Thompson Enamels. Might be worth checking out.

Did anyone ever find a paper chart? I would print listenup's wonderful one, but I got rid of my color printer. Or maybe I should do samples myself & make a board for my work area.

Thompsons sent me a booklet of all of their enamels when I ordered my sample packs. I am talking metal enamels here, but if they have a chart for the glass enamels, I am sure they will send you one. Call them. I find them to be most helpful and friendly on the phone.

I got the chart from them when my enamels came yesterday, but they don't have the 9000 series. I'll have to compare the names to the metals ones though, maybe it is the same colors, just formulated differently?

Thompson does not have a color chart for the 9000 series, but says that the one on Sundance's site is "very nice" and accurate. He said they were working on getting one, but not sure when it will happen.
I suspect Thompson does not have one yet because they don't make glass beads.
