Come join Renee at Art by Fire in Ballard, Washington on Sunday June 25th for fun, games, refreshments and torching. We will be beading from 11 am to 5.30 so NO PRESSURE.
Frit spody-ody! Bring a sample of frit, any color or colors. COE of the frit, 96 COE, which includes Reichenbach, Kugler, Gaffer and Zimmerman. We will be using them on Effetre and Vetrofond.
Pour your frit into the bowl of frit, stir and measure out of the mixed frit the amount that you brought. Each person will then make a bead using this frit. Their name and the time the bead was made will be taped to the bead in the kiln. Then bring the rest of your new mixture home and make more beads with this. Bring these beads to the next meeting and show what you made.
Cheryl will bring all the beads that are made at Art by Fire with the Spody-ody frit to the next meeting and we will be able to see the evolution of the frit mixture as more frit was added.
