Default Will there be a green DH luster glass in future?

I'm stalking the DH- Webpage since month waiting for a green luster glass that keeps the luster under encasement.

There were so many promising test batches sold 2011 all called OX-. Light greens with nice translucent luster, dark greens with an opacifying luster, all very unique and mesmerizing.

Am I the only bead maker who is missing these luster greens??

I agree, Kathrin!
I have some OX-376 and wish they would make more!

I believe Oxalis is next in line for release after Okeanos which was pre-released with the latest Boreas at the Gathering in July. Oxalis is similar to the OX380 - a beautiful minty green that retains its luster under encasement.

Not sure when tho! Hopefully Jed or Julie will let us know soon.

If you want green tones just use Aether clear over one of the blues and you will get green tones.....

But these greens you get from Aether are not like the greens of the Ox-series.
Most of the OX-glasses were so wonderful translucent and shiny after reduction. Or the opacifying luster green was so fantastic.
Really not comparable to Triton covered with Aether.

i got a bright lime green opaque luster from heavily reducing the brown rod from the new DH opaque sparkle luster series (can't remember the rod number and it's not up on their site anymore) then thinly encasing with aether - colour was quite unexpected but lovely. when i encased with Moretti it gave a bright opaque blue luster...

Its not dh, but arrow springs has their own luster-y green called aqua splash. I have not tried it yet but I plan to.

I played with Oxalis for the first time today. Hope it looks as good when it comes out the kiln as it did going in!

Please let us know! I'm thinking of buying some but would love to hear your results before. Thanks.

Oxalis is challenging for me. I prefer the lustrous reduction that is not opaque, but the luster disappears as I encase. Does anyone have any advice? I think I'll double post.

Thanks!

Aether clear over blues will give you nice greens. I even use aether over the pinks like kalypso, echo, and clio to get a nice transparent green cast over the pinks.. gives an extra layer of faint color.
Don't over heat your beads after you reduce.
