Hi all, do you think the new lausha clear would work with this too?

Who has OLD EDP for sale? Anyone?

Ok, so the EDP goes over the clear, right? Not clear over EDP. Then pull and use this new "rod", then make your bead?
I have some superclear, they've been making it for a while. In fact, I had heard they were going to stop making it. But don't quote me, I heard this from only one person about 3 months ago.

Those are awesome, Patti!

I'm still new and haven't had a chance to try that purple yet. I think I may do so. I've seen pics of that purple before and they usually looked different than the ones on this thread, so I'll have to try it the way you all say to. The beads I've seen here are amazing.

Thanks Fish!
Hey, the silver dots popped off on a couple of these beads, just to let you all know. Does EDP have a history of this with fine silver?
I made some more and tried heating and pressing (lightly), we'll see if this helps.

Eep! Let us know if it does. I've just tried fiddling with silver wire (I never was taught how; I'm just jumping in and doing my best!) and I did get some good results. Not on purple, mind you, but the beads are part of a Christmas gift and I'd be mortified if the silver popped off!

BTW, I'm the same person who wants their son and DIL to buy me your adorable baby beads. I see they aren't sold yet; I'll have to email them a reminder.

(sorry, don't mean to hijack... I just had to comment on the babies!)

I guess I should read all of these...
silver and edp go great...try pulling edp silvered stringer...and my signature bead uses silver leaf....

I need to confirm that edp over lauscha clear works fine...no devit but...
I posted a picture somewhere the difference is when you do a multi layered bead with lauscha and the new clear... the problem with lauscha is that even if you color up the edp when you apply a lauscha dot over it ...the edp blanches...

the new clear maintains the color of the edp when it is applied over it...
but the lauscha makes it blanch....so you can use the lauscha as a base but use the new clear when encasing...

and hummmmmmmmm so you mean the old edp is not available any more...EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!
