Default How to keep flower beads from turning in necklaces.

I am having so much fun making flower beads. However, when I try to use them in a necklace they want to turn down instead of holding their place in the necklace composition. Any ideas????? I have bought several tutorials but none of them address this issue.

What kind of flower beads are you making? If you are using the Leonardo petal puller, and attaching the petals to a lentil bead, you have to let the lentil droop a bit so the hole is in the top third of the bead. That way it won't turn down when wearing.

Donna,

Thanks for your suggestion. Most of the beads I have made have been on the end of the mandrel and then I have glued a hook in the hole that does not go through the bead. However, I'm open to trying different methods.

You need to add a loop to a petal or poke a hole for a split ring
